MDI supports the #AyokoNgPlastik movement, led by WWF Philippines. It is an information and education campaign that raises awareness about the harm brought about by single-use plastics to the environment.

The PPCRV is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, non-profit organization that serves as a watchdog during the country’s elections. It is named the “citizens’ arm” of the Commission on Elections. 

MDI employees invest their time to volunteer every election to ensure it is fair and free of fraud. They serve as poll-watchers, assistants, and encoders. Because of the company’s technical know-how, they have devised softwares and platforms to facilitate a parallel count quickly and cleanly. 

What better way to celebrate our 30-year milestone by sailing in the beautiful Philippine seas. In the 2019 MDI Philippine Hobie Challenge, ten intrepid two-member crews sailed to five islands across four provinces in five days in a race that captured the essence MDI’s 30 years of service:  a culture of excellence, fun, and giving back to the community. The race, which is Asia’s premier adventure sailing event, benefitted the schools and communities in the islands they sailed from, including Donsol, Sorsogon and Sicogon Island, Iloilo. MDI employees contributed to the outreach by donating medicine, school supplies, and provisions.
